History of Rice-O

Rice-O began construction in 2011.Armed with a deep vision, strong commitment and dedication to provide quality Rice Bran Oil (RBO) and other edible cooking oil for the public of Sri-Lanka, At a time, where all the edible cooking oil required for the country was being imported from other countries as the production of the country was nil.Entrepreneur Kuganesan Kanapathipillai began with the dream of making Sri-Lanka a self-sufficient country in edible cooking oil by beginning construction of the largest rice bran oil industry in Sri-lanka.
